How did it make you feel? For me, it was one of the most moving and inspiring political speeches I think I've ever seen (and I've seen ALOT of them). And even if it was just him trying to be politically correct, I really LOVED that he used the phrase "our g*y and L*****n brothers and sisters."

  1. I watched it

I thought it was really good.

  2. I watched it, and Obama is a d**n good speaker! Quite a change from Bush, I must say that! I don't think I've ever been inspired by one of Bush's speeches as I was from Obama's last night.

What scares me about him, however, is that I don't know if what he is saying is lip service, if he actually has a plan to follow through on all of his great ideas, or what. That's what I hate about politics. You never know if the person who is running is just saying things that sound good at the time, in order to gain more votes. I am leaning more toward Obama (we need a change!! BIG TIME!). Nevertheless, I'm still a bit hesitant to believe everything that he says. I hope that it's all true!! I hope he follows through, if elected. But, there is no way of telling for sure until he actually gets into office.

  3. I am predicting this right here and now, Barack Obama will be our next US president and will win by an overwhelming majority of votes over John McCain come Novermber.

  4. It was owe inspiring. Moving. Passionate. Brilliantly crafted and delivered and very politically expedient. But that's no surprise. We know the man can give good speeches. I am ready to get down to the meat and potatoes.

  5. It was lovely, inspiring, full of great ideas but once again he hasn't given any specifics on how we're going to accomplish all that, but it was gift wrapped very nicely.

  6. ugh i missed it. i wasnt home in the evening. i heard it was great though. ill porb watch it on his page later though.

oh and i found this site where they inlcude all the lgbt parts of his speeches.:http://www.g*y.com/news/article.html?col...

wow it was a nice speech.

  7. Ive just watched it here http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/08/28...  . And I must agree on that it was one of the most inspiring political speeches ive seen. Ive even got some goosebumps. And i loved that phrase too.

  8. I thought it was an ok speech. It lacked emotion and well he just played it so safe. Even if he did mention the LGBT community he definitely played it safe when it came to marriage. He basically said no to marriage .

  9. There was no substance.  It was all fluff and pretty words and gung-ho ideals...but no specifics.  I want to know what and how and when and why or why not.

  10. I did, I hope he can deliver on his promises because I am voting for him

  11. NO

  12. i missed it sadly
