Did you watch The Lost Room movie? How did the 'event' happen?

I guess it was put out by the SciFi channel with Juliana Margeleise.

So, this guy gets married and stays in a room by himself and when he leaves all his stuff has become magical and he's walked out into his past?

I know what you're talking about and it wasn't that he had gotten married the main character left his daughter in the room and when he came back everything including the daughter was gone.

I don't think it ever ended. It was canceled before they finished it.

Correction to the first answer:  The show was not canceled, it was a miniseries.  It ended as it was intended.  It's been a while since I saw it but the circumstances surrounding "The Event" are deliberately left vague.     Not a bad creative decision, it was a convoluted time space experiment gone wrong.  It's probably better not to try and explain it.

i agree with the great earless .....it wasnt cancelled it was  a mini series [showcase channel in aus sci fi in america] it came in 3 parts and it was a warped experiment gone wrong that never truly came to one conclusion about how it occured [all the followers have their own indiviual ideas but i dunno if anyone actually had it set ]

was a great show and i recorded the lot when it was on ,very well thought out to leave the viewer thinking :)
