Alba was able to perform phenomenally during the Euro 2012 campaign, for the Spanish national team. The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 player was once a part of the Barcelona youth system and the Catalan giants did not waste time in luring him back to his boyhood club.
With Jordi Alba gone, the left-back position was left vacant at the Mestalla as no player is good enough to replace the young Spanish full-back.
However, recently, reports suggest that the AC Milan full-back, Didac Vila, is under Valencia radar and the Spanish club will soon be bringing him to the Mestalla to replace Jordi Alba.
There have been rumours that AC Milan manager, Massimiliano Allegri, does not have any plans for Didac Vila and he is currently surplus to his requirement. Such rumours took more hype when the Milan boss did not select Vila for his pre-season friendly tour
which Milan are playing in the US.
Even though replacing Jordi Alba will be a tough task for the Milan full-back, he will still fit perfectly in that position and Valencia will have the perfect replacement for their star player.
Last season Didac was able to give 37 appearances for Espanyol and he scored two goals in the process. However, despite being available for so many games, and performing consistently, it seems as if Massimiliano Allegri is not satisfied with his performance
and might be ready to sell him to the Spanish side.
Didac joined AC Milan back in the year 2011 and while many thought that he will be taking a little part in the Italian side’s plans, he was loaned back to the Cornella El Prat outfit, Espanyol.
He has been doing a good http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011, playing for Espanyol. After giving out solid performances for the Catalan-based club, Valencia believe that he will be the perfect fit for them and can be utilized in the future as their first-choice left-back.
