  1. Jumper punches are still punches to the head, whether they are soft or not, there was no difference with kosi's, but didak apparently had less points hanging over his head, (which i think is the stupidest thing ever brought into the tribunal rulings)

i am not collingwood bashing here, it just doesn't make sense, so if you hold a jumper and punch some one in the face, that's not the same as not holding the jumper?

blokes get 2 weeks for smacking someone in the guts, soft i know but lets get it black or white, if you strike some one, is it reportable or not.  p**s off all the points c**p,

minimum strike- warning or 1 week

etc etc till you get to serious/ severe 6-8 weeks.

kicking is another matter as is headbutting.

its all too much of a Grey area, grade the strikes and be done with it, no points hanging over etc.

  2. There was nothing in the Didak incident...he was just scruffling and his hand slipped :P

  3. Yes, he got off. It beats me how one player gets rubbed out one week & the following week the same tribunal throws an identical charge out.

Whether they should have been reported in the first instance is not really the question here...it is the stupid inconsistency of the stupid tribunal.

They should at least be consistent. Either convict them all, or none at all.

  4. All the reports in the Essendon vs Collingwood game were soft! Didak was retaliating, and the 'jumper punch" was more like a jumper tap!

The tribunal need to be punishing actual incidents, like the Hall/Staker case more, and they need to forget about these small things. If nobody got hurt, it should be fine!

PS: Did Lucas get off his charge? Even I think he should have!

  5. he got off on the field? eeewwwww!, lol seriously those jumper punches are nothing, no need for suspension at all
