Reports in French media suggest that Spanish La Liga side, Valencia are keenly monitoring http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 manager Laurent Blanc with a view to replace Unai Emery
Fictitiously, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 chose to pull out of the competition. However, unfortunately, both ogres of Spanish football do not count for nothing given their illustrious history. For the
past two years at least, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 have been content with a third place finish by the end of the campaign.
Today, the situation is no different. Los Che are in third place and coach Unai Emery has done pretty well with the club despite not having the ‘Messis’ and ‘Ronaldos’ at his disposal.
However, the Spaniard will be out of contract this June. Nearing the end of his reign as Valencia coach, Unai Emery should not anticipate a new contract and will be forced to look elsewhere.
Valencia hierarchy, are now thinking about a future coach and reportedly, have already prepared a list of coaches they feel could help the side give the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona tough time next season.
The daily Spanish, Superdeporte claims that four candidates have already been chalked out by Valencia. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mauricio-c24899 Pocchettino, Luis Milla, Didier Deschamps and Laurent Blanc are in that list.
The last two French tacticians have been courted by Valencia and other clubs for a long time.
Laurent Blanc is currently the manager of France national team and will be at the dugout when Les Bleus feature in the Euro 2012 co-hosted by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032. The former World Cup winner’s contract might not be renewed after the European Championships
which means that many clubs are keeping tabs on him.
Meanwhile, Didier Deschamps is coaching Olympique de Marseille. The Ligue 1 giants are currently far away from a Champions League spot and Deschamps might consider leaving the Velodrome if the club fails to qualify for the event.
However, Valencia do not have a very high financial strength to compete with the biggest clubs in the transfer market which means that hiring these two French coaches could turn out to be a tough task.
