Praising the defending World champions, Deschamps stated that Spain are blessed with so many gifted midfielders and they have the ability to keep a lot possession during a game.
The coach added that playing defensively against La Roja is not a solution and his side need to attack them from the very start.
“And the problem with Spain is that they have the quality to keep the ball for long stretches. But I'm convinced that coming here simply to defend against Spain is no solution, because with their attacking quality, Spain usually break you down sooner or
later.”
