The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127 coach has said that endless questions regarding his future are now becoming tiresome and that he has no answer to give to anyone
With a 2-1 defeat against Lorient on Friday, Olympique de Marseille have shown that they have definitely forgotten how to win a game within 90 minutes. Les Phoceens are now winless in their last 13 games and the residents of Stade Velodrome should be set
for a poor finish to a Ligue 1 campaign that will go down in the club’s history as one of the worst seasons ever despite winning the Coupe de la Ligue.
For a long time, coach Didier Deschamps’ future has been discussed in newspapers. The former Juventus manager has been touted with a move away from the club when the season ends. Marseille have already started the hunt for a new coach who can replace a man
who won six trophies in three years at the Rhone club.
The likes of Erik Gerets, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jean-c18112 Fernandez, Claude Puel and an even untried Fabrizio Ravenelli have been linked with the coaching stint.
The likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 are reportedly keeping tabs on the former World Cup winner but Didier Deschamps seems not to want to discuss his future for now atleast.
The constant flow of questions is now becoming annoying for Deschamps.
While responding to yet another question regarding his future, Deschamps said that he has nothing special to say because he is under contract at the club.
“There are so many things that are being said and written but I have nothing special to say. If there’s just one huge detail, it is that I am under contract for another two years and this should not be forgotten. That’s enough. I have nothing else to say.”
Deschamps then went on to say that he will see the president when he wants to see him and repeated that he is under contract.
“Since I arrived, I’m available every day. If the president wants to see me, he can see me. If he wants to call me, he can call me. I have no answer to give.”
Certainly, Deschamps is trying his best to maintain his loyalty to a club where he has made a name of himself.
