The Chelsea striker was sent off against Manchester United last time the Blues made it to the final in the Champions League but this time he is looking forward to making a more positive impact for the London club against Bayern
Munich...
Didier Drogba’s team are now just one match away from becoming the first London club to lift the UEFA Champions League trophy but they will have to win against the German giants Bayern Munich to do that. Chelsea sealed their place
in the final match of the Champions League after gaining a vital win over Barcelona in the semi-final of the competition. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 did win the second leg at their home stadium but Chelsea’s away goal meant that they cemented a berth in the final rather than
the defending champions.
Didier Drogba’s team were in the final of the same competition just four years ago when they lost to Manchester United on penalties in Moscow and Drogba was sent off in extra time. This time around the Ivorian target man is determined
to make a positive impact for the Blues and perhaps he might do that by scoring against Bayern Munich.
Drogba said, "This is the second one. Let's see if we can win this one. I think it would be great for the club, for the fans. I heard them singing for another hour and I think, for them, we're going to do everything to win it.
I think everybody deserves a second chance.”
He added, "I don't know if it's mine, but I think I've paid what I had to during this time, not winning the final - after that having a lot of criticism. But that's football, and I understand that. It just helped me to grow up
a little bit more. I know some people don't like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 but that's football. You cannot be loved by everyone.”
