During his spell at Chelsea the Special One led the Blues to back to back English Premier League titles in his first two seasons at the club. After the untimely sacking of Andre Villas-Boas, Mourinho is amongst the many managers linked with the London club.
Meanwhile, the assistant manager under Andre Villas-Boas, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Di Matteo has been made the caretaker manager at the club. It is common knowledge that he will not be the manager long term manager at the club and that the management is currently looking
for a more permanent replacement.
The Blues striker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Didier-Drogba-c11044 admitted there was a lot of speculation at this point, with the club linked with various managers. The likes of Rafael Benitez, Sven-Goran Eriksson and Jose Mourinho have all been reportedly linked with the Blues and Drogba
revealed that it was perfectly normal at this stage.
Drogba said in an interview:
“There is a lot of speculation - him (Mourinho), (Rafael) Benitez, all these managers. It would be nice (to have Mourinho back), it would be fun for the story. Let's see what happens.”
Drogba said he believed that it would be fun to have Mourinho return to the club, his teammate and Chelsea skipper http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international admitted there was speculation of which manager would take over next but revealed it
would have no effect on their goals for this season.
He revealed the Blues were still targeting the FA Cup, UEFA Champions League and a European place finish in the English Premier League. Terry added:
