Didier Drogba cautious about next couple of weeks
Didier Drogba has blandly admitted that Chelsea's next three Premier League fixtures will be pivotal in their title tilt.
The Blues, who stuck through over recent weeks, are bound to face Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Arsenal before the end of the year.
How effectively they negotiate the twists of the games is likely to go a long way in declaring the outcome of it resulting towards them defending their ‘top flight’ crown this term.
Strike ace Drogba stated, "Obviously these three games are not coming at the right time for us but they will change the situation we're in now if we win them. It's not finished yet.”
He clearly said that it is quite a rough time for them at the current position, but this kind of situation could arise for any team. "It feels peculiar as for a team like Chelsea to have such a slab in the tenure is unrealistic to imagine, however the future
is envisioned to be much brighter.
"Things are never as easily achieved as preached, because they Tottenham next but not a lot of people expected them to lose to Marseille (on Wednesday) or expected, Chelsea to have a thorny moment in the game ever."
Chelsea are set to depart to White Hart Lane on Sunday, despite knowing they have not won at the home of their capital rivals since 2005. Drogba is still expecting another tough test in North London this weekend, with the Ivorian of the opinion that Spurs
could challenge for top honours this season.
Drogba said that rumours have it that nearly every person expects them to lose on Sunday, but time never remains constant for all and the wheel of luck may change. He however clearly stated that he sees Tottenham as genuine title rivals. He said that Tottenham
have been having a good season so far so there is no reason to underestimate the challenge ahead they may face against them. Even though in the past, Chelsea used to beat them regularly but situations and circumstances have now changed, and that is how life
is, time and tide never wait or remain still for any man, and only a true hero can fail, get up and learn from his mistakes and be victorious again.
