http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Didier-Drogba-c11044 has admitted that he is set to bid farewell to Chelsea after eight years with the London club. Drogba who played a central part in Chelsea’s win over Bayern Munich only recently came to Chelsea eight years ago and
since his arrival, the prolific target-man has enthralled the English Premier League with his fantastic goals and other antics that come along with them as well.
Chelsea were dependent on Drogba in the UEFA Champions League in the previous season as he was the one who scored the first goal of the two legged semi-final tie against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 and he was also the one who equalized for Chelsea
at the death against Bayern Munich in normal time. Not only that, Drogba has had a history of performing in big matches for Chelsea and that is why during his time at the club he has won a remarkable three league titles, four F.A Cups, two Carling Cups and
now the UEFA Champions League as well. With his penalty at Allianz Arena which won Chelsea the European Cup, Drogba has indeed been forever included into the Chelsea F.C. folklore.
The striker himself remarked, "I wanted to put an end to all the speculation and confirm that I am leaving http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786. It has been a very difficult decision for me to make and I am very proud of what we have achieved but the time
is right for a new challenge for me. As a team we have accomplished so much and have won every single trophy possible.”
He added, “I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at the club especially Roman [Abramovich, owner] and my team-mates, many of whom have become very close friends and will be my friends for life.  I would also like
to say a very special thank you to the Chelsea fans who have shown me so much love and support over the years.”
