Didier Drogba wants four titles this season
Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has said that his said his club could claim four titles this season after making an impressive start so far.
Chelsea have won all five league games so far, scoring 21 goals in the process. Last week, Carlo Ancelotti's team began their Champions League campaign by defeating Romanian team MSK Zilina 4–1.
When asked whether Chelsea's strong form could have them challenge for the two domestic cups and the Champions League trophy as well as the top spot in the Premier League, Drogba said that while the possibility
shouldn't be discounted, it will be a difficult task.
"It's very difficult, [winning four titles] is a very difficult thing to achieve," he said. "Why not? If we do it it will be an amazing season. I think to keep the title will be difficult, even if people
see us as one of the best teams with Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool."
In his first season at Chelsea, Ancelotti led the team to win the FA Cup and the league. Drogba maintained that this season's top priority remained defending the domestic title. "But it will be difficult
this season. That's why we're here - we want to prove we are the champions and we want to keep the Premier League trophy."
Ancelotti's Champions League record
During his eight seasons at AC Milan between 2001 and 2009, Ancelotti won the Champions League twice, and it's certain that his European credentials played a part in Chelsea's interest in the Italian.
The club finished second in the competition in 2008 after losing to Manchester United in the final, but only reached the round of 16 during Ancelotti's first season, where Jose Mourinho's Inter Milan proved
to strong.
Another trophy that evaded the team last season was the Carling Cup. Chelsea enter the tournament on Wednesday with a home fixture against Newcastle.
