They kept saying he was fine but his stride looked a bit unnatural to me when he pulled up.

  1. He looked uncomfortable...maybe equipment problems.  The jockey stopped him from racing because he felt there was a problem...that's why he was last.  He could of been just stubborn or too hot.  Or bleeding...lasiks will stop and prevent that in the future.  Many horses run on lasiks...I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of him...look for him to race in The Travers and/or Breeders Cup.  Keep the faith.  He has great people to take care of him...after all his a 60 Million dollar baby.

  2. If he bled or came up lame the trainer and vets would know. They don't.

He was scoped in order to find a problem and results haven't been released yet.

There was nothing obviously wrong with him. He was a bit rank early, and he threw his head in the air some. He was steadied a few times, and was running very wide on the backstretch.

Still, he managed to stay within striking distance thru all that - but didn't respond when asked to run.

The jock realized he wasn't firing and just pulled him up to protect the animal in case something was wrong that wasn't obvious to the jockey at the time.

  3. His stride looked unnatural because he was out of gas, and still wanted to run, and was fighting the jockey, who was pulling him up. The hoof had nothing to do with it.  But they did adjust his training because of the hoof.  He just wasn't ready for the race.

  4. What now you have to say something is always wrong

    No he was NOT LAME

He looked fatigued,, he was walking fine

    trotting fine

his galloped was not right,, but not LAME

IT WAS NOT HIS DAY AT ALL

    PERIOD

  5. yes, he did look injured to me too. he was sort of running funny towards the end. if he was "fine" he also wouldn't have finished last

  6. No. His jockey pulled him up because Big Brown didn't

have it today.  He could have injured him by pushing him harder.

Besides, the effects of the steroid Winstrol, given to

Big Brown up through at least April (maybe longer), has

finally wore off.  This steroid is the same one that got

Ben Johnson stripped of his Olympic gold medal in the

100 meters, and the same one that Roger Clemens is

    accused of taking.

Sorry, but Big Brown was a juiced up fraud.

  7. He didnt look injured to me...the reason he got last was because the jockey didnt want big brown to get injured. The reason he didnt win is because it wasnt his day. he wasnt ready to race and the heat was a very big factor.

  8. He was injured before the match Doctors said the hoof had no effect but it was hurting him alot

  9. he used steriods for the KY derby. I think that's why he won. He looked injured to me.

  10. He didn't necessarily look injured, he looked agitated.

No horse enjoys 93 degree heat.
