  1. McCain's father and grandfather were admirals in the United States Navy and were the first father-son pair to achieve four-star admiral rank.  Both fought in WWII. His Grandfather died shortly after the Japanese surrender ceremony.  His father stayed in the navy after the war ended.

But there is McCain involvement in the Civil War - also in the American Indian Wars, American Revolutionary War, War of 1812,  and in World War I.

  2. Idk.

McCains, like a thousand years old.

His dad must be a gazillion.

They've existed b4 dinosaurs, so he couldn't have fought in the civil war.

  3. Too bad your father didn't raise you to be 1/2 the man John McCain is - not in your lifetime.  Maybe a tour of duty in the USMC might give you some honor.

  4. no, i highly doubt he was alive back then

  5. And if he did, so what.

BTW  Thanks for raising the level of debate.  A real mind buster.

  6. Another product of our failed educational system.

  7. Another know nothing civilian talking outta his hind parts.

  8. Lol I thought McCain was the one who fought for the South in the Civil War...not his father?

  9. No, it was John mccain that fought in the civil war , he's so old. lol

  10. He was an admiral at the time fighting for the South Vietnamese government as part of the U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War so yes he was fighting for the South.

  11. maybe his grandfather...besides...whats does it matter..

  12. What exactly would it matter.  Besides maybe not the father but someone in the ancestral gene pool could have.

Let me guess you believe in the statement of they shall pay for the sins of there fathers.

Its over with let it go move forward and DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES.

  13. McCain and bush are old friends...

  14. I don't know, but even if he did, why would it matter? Just because you fought for the South didn't mean you wanted slavery. If Japan owned your country, and your country left Japan again to be its own, wouldn't you fight for your real country?

I just used Japan as an example.

  15. yep, his grandad fought at Thermopalae!

  16. Um McCain’s Dad was an Admiral in the navy. That’s why they were going to let McCain out of the jungle before the rest of the prisoners. But he refused hence why he can’t lift his hands above his head because they were dislocated and left like that. Have a tiny bit of respect for someone because you know what you’re going to be an OLD f**t one day too.

  17. Isn't Obama's fighting for the Fedayeen in Iraq?

  18. OK, I don't like McCain, but what in the h**l does fighting for the south anything to do with anything?  And How in the h**l did his father fight for the south, maybe his Great x's 6 grandfather.

Unless you're just saying that he is REALLY OLD!  Which, he is.

  19. that isn't possible is dad would have to be like 140 or so....it could have been his grandfather

  20. **** you
