Didn't know I was pregnant until after annual internal exam!

Question

I'm not sure that I AM pregnant - just a big delay in menstruation - but with my annual wellness checkup at the OB/GYN she did an internal exam. And I worry that if she pressed on my ovaries and uterine wall, could she have pushed on the embryo and not known it?

Don't worry, if you are pregnant there is nothing that a doctor does during a pelvic exam that will harm a baby.

If you are pregnant you will get an internal exam anyway.  Plus the exam shows possible signs of pregnancy with the change in color of the cervix.  It's possible that she will see that and make you test.  She can't press the baby out of there.  It's really well protected.

if you are pregnant you don't have anything to worry about. Even when you are pregnant they give you internal exams, so don't worry. Now go figure out if you are really pregnant.
