Die Bahn or Eurorail pass?

I'm going to Germany for two weeks in November. Trying to figure out if I should by a rail pass and if so, what is the one I should get. I've been to the Bahn website but I don't understand what exactly the passes cover. Going to be mostly in Germany.

I would get the rail pass.  There are rail passes that work for a certain amount of days.  I think they go for like 7, 15, and 21 consecutive days.  You want the consecutive day passes because that means you can ride the rail as many times you want during that day without it counting for an extra day.  Be careful about using it on ferries and such because it does count as an extra day.  Also, when you have a rail pass it does not guarentee a seat.  You need to ask the people at the ticket booth whether or not you will need reservations.  On some trains you will definatly need them because they can  be packed.  However, reservations don't cost that much...around 5 euros.  If you are traveling outside of Germany you may want to think about getting the passes that include like two or three other countries and if you want to go to another country that it doesn't touch, you have to buy a seperate ticket for that country. It can get confusing but good luck.  It's a great experience...I did it everyday for three months.

look for www.eurail.com. the eurailsite is in english Die bahn is the german name for the railway like indian railway.you can get the "bahncard" with 25%or 50% discount special for gemany.

Euro-rail is you best bet. Just make sure you know your fare rules well. They can be very tricky and can leave be hanging if you do not know the exact details of your plan.
