I dont see how you can lump family and country together.

I wouldnt die for my country, that's nationalism and is the second leading cause of mass death, under communism/socialism.

For my loved ones, sure.

i would absoluteley die for my family and under  the right curcumstance i would die for my country. america is the land of the free and will only stay that way as long as people are willing to fight for it.

I would embrace it man

even if its for no reason if your there you need some sort of fuel to keep on running i mean if u get drafted what else can you hope for except for a home and a family to look forward to after days on the frontline

think about it

your sweating for your life hugging your rifle thinking about those cookies your grandma baked so great and you just want to get a smell of it but the smell of ash and blood fills the air instead
