Valencia goalkeeper Diego Alves has warned his team-mates ahead of his side’s tough Copa del Rey clash against Spanish Champions Barcelona.
Alves appeared wary of the threat his team faces when they go head-to-head against the Catalan Giants. The Brazilian goalkeeper has called on his teammates to be at the top of their concentration when they visit Nou Camp.
Barcelona will play host to Unai Emery’s men this Wednesday to play out the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final.
The first leg of the semi-final was played on February 1st when the two teams met at the Mestalla. The entertaining fixture ended in a 1-1 stalemate.

However, Pep Guardiola’s men were able to equalise ten minutes after conceding the first goal. Although Barcelona could have gone on to win the match as they were awarded a penalty in the second half, they failed to utilize from the spot as Lionel Messi’s
strike was saved by Alves.
Despite several efforts made by both the teams, the match ended with the score level at 1-1. Barca were able to come away with a very crucial away goal, which may play a vital role in determining which team qualifies for the final.
Diego Alves has taken out time to alert his team to be very cautious since they are at a disadvantage after conceding a goal at home.
According to the club’s official website, the Brazilian said:
"We will fight right up to the final seconds and will leave everything on the pitch, [we have to] be near-perfect in order to achieve success.
"We don't know what will happen, as Barcelona's style and aggression leads to many chances over the course of ninety minutes. People seem to think that things are going badly for Barça, but that isn't the case. They are still the best team in the world,"
Los Che have win by at least one goal at the Nou Camp to eliminate last year's runners-up.
