The Brazilian has spent most of his time on loan with different clubs in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011. In the beginning of this year he was loaned to Rayo Vallecano. He soon returned to Atletico after he managed to score 10 goals in 16 appearances for
the Vallecano.
However, the striker is now ready to play and show his worth to the club.
“I need to play; I need to demonstrate what I can do. I’m young and if I am in a big team like Atletico Madrid it does not mean that I always will be.”
The player also said that he is happy at where he is and with his teammates. He admitted that he finally feels at home after it took a long time for him to adjust at the club. He believes this year should be his year.
“I’m very happy here with my teammates. It took a long time but it is like my house and I’m very happy. This year should be nice for me at Atleti.”

Meanwhile, the Brazilian also talked about his struggle with the knee injury he sustained during Atletico’s preseason in 2011 and has said that he is taking things slowly but surely.
“I’m going step by step, never taking two steps forward only to take one back.”
