He was quoted saying, “It's still too early to say whether I'll get a run against Brest on Sunday... I'm at the coach's disposal and I'm working hard every day to be ready."
The former Fenerbahce man had a successful start to the 2011/12 campaign as he led his national side in a 3-2 win against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032 last week in Kharkiv. He also managed to score a crucial goal which helped them triumph over the European side.
In the post match interview, the Canelones-born defender said that he played 70 minutes of football at good pace. He further added that the opening few matches of the season are always important to get back into the rhythm.

I’m slowly getting to know my teammates,
even if I don’t speak French yet. I’m starting to feel at home and I hope we’ll reach our goals this season as a team.”
The Uruguay international further added that since Les Rouge-et-Bleu are a new squad with a lot of international players, they are working hard to connect as a team as soon as possible. Lugano also confessed that Paris Saint-Germain have very high ambitions
this season and the players have their own share of hunger for silverware.
It remains to be seen whether the Coach of Paris Saint-Germain, Antoine Kombouare, is ready to give the 30-year-old centre-back his first outing for PSG this weekend.
PSG face Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg in the UEFA Europa League on September 15. Playing against Brest on Sunday will definitely calm the nerves of the defender as well as give the Kanak coach a good insight of Lugano’s capabilities and prepare him for
