The Uruguayan international’s agent has said that his client will not seek a move away from Parc des Princes despite the arrival of Thiago Silva from AC Milan
A few days back while talking to reporters, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thiago-Silva-c34903 has signed for the cash-laden French outfit and will surely be
an integral part of Carlo Ancelotti’s plans for next season.
However, it is not only Sakho whose future at the club has become uncertain following the Brazilian’s arrival at Parc des Princes. The likes of Milan Bisevac, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zoumana-Camara-c38101 and Diego Lugano should also be worried about what role they will be given next
season.
Yet, some players seem impervious to all the pressure that PSG's transfer market activity has brought along with it.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Diego-c11058 Lugano, does not seem fazed by the arrival of star players. As a proof, the former Fenerbahce star has refused an offer from a Brazilian side.
The likes of Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/River-Plate-c40368 are keen on securing the 31-year-old’s services but the Uruguayan has chosen to stay put at the club.
In recent hours, Brazilian giants Fluminense also considered signing the player but the former Sao http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paulo-c29431 star has said no to a return to Brazilian football.
While talking to Brazilian news agency Lancenet, Lugano’s agent, Juan Figer revealed that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fluminense-c39366 indeed approached the player but his client declined the offer.
“Fluminense made a formal offer for Diego Lugano, but he will not return to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858. For now, he will stay at PSG, he is very happy and will wait at least this summer to decide what to do in the future.”
Les Parisiens are now aware that they have to keep the player at least until the winter transfer window meaning that Lugano is willing to fight for a place in the starting XI.
Lugano’s decision to stay put in Ile could be a financial one as well. Currently, the South American champion earns a gross salary of 330,000 euros per month. Not many clubs in the world can offer the player so much money and Lugano would also not be looking
to take a pay cut.
Many players in PSG are being overpaid according to many people which means that they are inaccessible to most of the clubs. This is a problem that PSG will encounter more often than not as players who have a lucrative contract, will prefer staying on the
bench and collect their pay cheques.
