Diego Maradona, eager to make a comeback as the Argentinean coach

Diego Maradona is dealing with some serious stress regarding his coaching career these days. Recently the former Argentinean striker expressed his desire to rejoin the Argentinean football team as a coach.
It is to be noted that the relation of Argentinean football board and Diego Maradona went into shambles when the Argentina team suffered a crucial defeat against Germany in the World Cup which was held in South Africa this year. Later the forty nine year
old football legend was told that he could only continue as coach if he changes his backroom team. The proposal by the Argentinean football federation was denied by Maradona which led to his contract being revoked.
In a very recent interview the former Argentinean striker and football legend expressed his love and feelings for his country and the football game and told the media that he is willing to coach the Argentinean national team by all means. According to some
reports the forty nine year old said that he wants to join the team as a coach as the game of football is his eternal love. He added that he is very eager to be a part of the team and he wants to train the players to play at their best.
It is to be notified that these days the former veteran midfielder Sergio Batista is currently working as a caretaker coach of the Argentinean team. It is also reported that the AFA (Argentinean Football Association) might hire Batista as the full-time coach.
Under the coaching of Sergio Batista, the team Argentina has performed pretty well and has been able to hammer Ireland and the current World Champion, Spain. The present care taker coach has full support of AFA president Julio Grondona and some of the Argentinean
key players as well. The current situation is very critical for Maradona as it seems that the AFA and the team are much happier with Batista as compared to him.
Despite of all the rumours about Batista, Maradona seem very keen and confident to join the Argentinean football as a coach. When the forty nine year old was asked about his chances of regain the job as a coach he expressed himself pretty convincingly and
said that his relation with the players and football association is very good and he is very sure that the AFA will let him renew his contract as a coach. When he was asked about the performance of Lionel Messi in the World Cup, the former striker said that
Messi is a great player but he was not lucky and slightly out of touch during the World Cup. Maradona added that Messi is a very dedicated and creative player and his ability is not ignorable.
The forty nine year old is no doubt getting frustrated in attempts to get back his old job as coach. It is also reported that he has shown interest to coach Portugal and Mexico teams as well. When he was asked about the matter the football legend admitted
the fact by saying that Mexico has rejected his proposal and he is still waiting for the Portugal's answer.
The tussle between the Argentinean Football Association and Diego Maradona has certainly affected the game of football in Argentina. Football is a game which is loved and supported by millions from all around the world and Argentina is considered as one
of the best football playing nations of the world. Now the fans of Argentina from all around the world are hoping to see their favourite team to play at its best. To promote and improve the game of football in Argentina, it is important for the football association
to resolve the issues as soon as possible because without Argentina's passionate football game, the world of football looks a little faded.
