Diego Maradona, the Argentine magician, who has come a long way from his days as a legendary footballer, recently tried his luck at managing football teams. However, Diego, the manager had a rather unsuccessful spell managing the
Argentinean national team. Now, it seems like he is going to try his luck at the club level soon. Diego has admitted to be in the process of holding talks with an English club, to discuss his possible future as their manager. As a result, he is being rumoured
to be the man who will take the reigns of Blackburn http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rovers-c40385.
The manager is reported to have said, “In February I am going to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 to listen to a firm offer. If they convince me, I may take it up. I am not desperate. I know that some day I will coach another team.”
Blackburn’s new owners parted ways with Sam Allardyce and appointed Steve Kean as the caretaker manager instead. However, the owners of the team admitted that Kean’s appointment was not a permanent one and they were looking for
alternatives already. It also just so happens that Maradona is one of those alternatives that they have been thinking about.
The Chairwoman of Blackburn is reported to have said, “We thought about Maradona as a coach after we took over. Talks were at the initial stage then, but there is no development on that front yet.”
The team also tried signing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ronaldinho-c31733 this past week, but failed at doing so. Now, it seems like the new owners at the club are looking to give the team some major boost by recruiting some of the biggest names out there. Currently,
the only person who would not be too happy to hear about the speculations regarding Maradona's move to Blackburn, is Kean. On the other hand, almost everyone else is dying to see just what the Argentinean legend can do with a club like Blackburn and who knows,
Maradona might just prove that he is as good a manager, as he was a player.
