Diego Milito confirms his commitment to Inter Milan

Inter Milan's Diego Milito has said he was wrong to say he wanted to move to Real Madrid this summer, adding that he is fully committed to the Italian team.
Milito, who joined Inter in 2008, enjoyed a fruitful season under Jose Mourinho last year, netting 31 goals in 50 appearances.
After making a slow start to the current season, with four goals in 12 appearances for new manager Rafael Benitez, speculation arose that the Argentine would join forces with Mourinho at Real Madrid.
During the recent transfer window, Milito publicly declared he was considering a move to the Spanish capital, but has now insisted that he always intended to stay with Inter.
"I have never wanted to leave," the 31-year-old told the Inter Channel. "I'm fine here at Inter and I will continue to be, because this is a great club that has given me a lot on a personal level and I am really happy for this."
The striker, who was injured in Argentina's recent friendly against Japan, also expressed his regret at having made the statements he did in the summer.
"I am very happy at Inter. I was wrong to say some of the things I said after Madrid, but I was sincere."
Hopes to be joined by Messi
The last week has seen more speculation arise, this time about Milito's international teammate Lionel Messi, who has been linked with a move to Inter from Spanish champions Barcelona.
"It would be wonderful [if Messi joined Inter], but it's not easy right now. We know that Leo is very happy in Barcelona, where he is an idol. I know he likes Italy, but it's also true that he's fine at Barca. However, it's a dream and my wish that one day
he can come to Italy and play for Inter."
