The Argentinean centre-forward went on to remark that Internazionale took motivation from the injustice they had suffered a minute into the match against Juventus.
It was a victory that had broken the unbeaten record that Juventus held, a victory that did not let the reigning Scudetto holders complete their streak of remaining unbeaten in the Serie A to 50 matches. However, after the first minute of the match, it seemed
like it was not going to be Inter’s night, as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arturo-Vidal-c6760 scored from the first attack of the match.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Stephan-Lichtsteiner-c34101 was given a lifeline when he was on a yellow
card; his lunge on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rodrigo-c31437 Palacio was fully deserving of a second yellow card; however, he got away with a warning from the referee. Andrea Stramaccioni was visibly irked in the dugout and he went on to protest to the fourth official.
This was in the early stages of the first half, and Lichtsteiner was substituted in the first half as Angelo Alessio called off the player in favour of Martin Caceres. Milito went on to remark that they had used the injustice they faced in the first half
and turned it around as their fuel in the second half, to motivate them to avenge the refereeing errors.
The former Real Zaragoza player conceded that they had started off rather slowly in the match; but after the initial exchanges they took their chances expertly. He remarked that there was great anger for the decisions that had gone against them and he went
on to comment:
“It was a very tough game against the reigning champions. We stepped on to the field a little sleepy and immediately went behind, but then we grew and deserved the win. We got back out for the second half with so much anger for the offside goal and the Lichtsteiner
incident, which helped us put in a fantastic performance.”
Milito was the saviour for Internazionale as he scored twice in the Derby d’Italia.
