Diego Sanchez and Jake Ellenberger enter the octagon on UFC on Fuel TV today – UFC news
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will televise its first ever Fuel TV show ‘UFC on Fuel TV’ on February 15, 2012, which will be headlined by the bout between two of the most prolific welterweight brawlers in UFC, Diego Sanchez and Jake Ellenberger.
Diego and Jake, both Americans have put forth the mixed martial art fanatic’s epic bouts that have mesmerised them and have helped them understand the true meaning of being in the UFC octagon brawl. The main event though is a non-title bout yet people will
definitely fill the Omaha Civic Auditorium to witness these two men who have created havoc not only in their division but also in the whole roster of UFC.
Diego, infamous as the ‘Nightmare’, has been in a total 27 mixed martial art brawls and came out victorious in 23. He has won nine of his total bouts by submission, six by knock out and eight by unanimous decision.
Sanchez has won the Fight of the night honour several times but his one bout, the recent one, against Martin Kampmann in UFC Live 3 pay-per-view stunned the whole MMA universe. The bout proved that Sanchez does really possess high levels of resilience and
the way he not only made a comeback from the fierce beating but also won the bout unanimously shocked the world altogether.
Diego was brutally punched by Martin so much so that his face got red by his own blood. This horrific scenario did not at all lower the determination in him and he in the remaining two rounds took the fight to Martin with a huge force. Diego’s bout against
Martin became legendary and his fight was denoted as one of the best fights of year 2011.
Jake, renowned as the ‘Juggernaut’, has been in a total 31 mixed martial art brawls. He has won 26 brawls and a huge 17 by knock out. His knock out capability is visible from the fact that he has collected wins against men such as Jake Shields, José Landi-Jons,
Carlos Eduardo Rocha and Mike Pyle.
Diego will enter the Octagon with his resilience and submission capabilities and Jake will rely heavily on his knock out ability. The bout which is scheduled to take place at Omaha, Nebraska will surely place a trance over the public since the presence of
both men together in one ring is synonymous to sheer brutality and epic brawling.
