The Atletico Madrid boss pointed out that Cristiano Ronaldo’s outstanding performance against his side played the dominant role on Wednesday.
The Argentine coach has expressed that it was due to the brilliance of the Portuguese skipper that Los Blancos were able to ease past Atletico Madrid.

It was a remarkable performance on an individual level as Ronaldo’s first goal came from a free kick, the second came from a beautiful strike outside the box and the third goal was a penalty which he converted with ease.
With Jose Callejon scoring the fourth goal of the match, Los Vikingos were able to assert their dominance over their local rivals.

While talking to AS, the Argentine was quoted as saying:

but I think in the second half we lost it.”

Wednesday’s victory takes Real Madrid four points clear at the top of the Spanish Primera Division’s league standings.
