Atletico Madrid’s new manager http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Diego-c11058 Pablo Simeone will put together an aggressive unit that will be tough on the counter attack.
The capital club presented their new manager to the general public on Tuesday at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vicente-c36001 Calderon, and Simone was not slow in telling the audience just what to expect from his side on the pitch.
He stated that he likes an aggressive team that is strong, courageous, and quick on counter attacks.
The Argentine is well aware of the history of the club after spending two terms with Los Rojiblancos. Simeone’s first stint as a part of the club’s roster was from 1994 to 1997 before leaving for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan.

Diego has stated his intention of returning the team to its former glory, one that they have forgotten over the years. He wants the players to dignify the jersey they wear with required results.
The nine-time La Liga champions have failed to add to their tally in the past 23 years, and the ambitious manager wants the club to follow in the footsteps of their predecessors. He believes that they can achieve the glorious heights of yester years if they
implement his footballing philosophy.
"This kind of play is what led us to identify athletes with this glorious shirt. If we go down in history, the history of Atletico is this," he stated.
The style that Simeone wants to put into effect at Vicente Calderon is in direct contrast to that of the outgoing Gregorio Manzano.
The ousted coach wanted to enforce his own brand of football in the Spanish capital, a footballing philosophy that strained on mastery of the ball.
Atleti fans would hoping for the change in regime to bring favourable results, after six months of inconsistent displays.
Los Rojiblancos have failed to get their money’s worth following a summer that saw them spend heavily in the transfer market.
Their performances in the Primera Division have been woeful, where they languish in 13th place. Copa del Rey was equally disappointing as they were comprehensively beaten by Segunda Division side, Albacete.
