Diesel Elsie awarded with best odds for The Romford Stadium Maidens
Diesel Elsie has won best odds for the first race of The Romford Stadium Maidens in England on Friday, March 16, 2012. A cash prize of £150 will be given to the triumphant greyhound of the Grade OR event.
There will be six quality runners combating each other in the 400 metres flat race, which is scheduled to start at 19:46 GMT. The entries which have been confirmed are: Diesel Elsie, Uh Oh Chongo, Rough Bullet, Switch On Son, Gleneagle Mac and Coomlogane
Rahm.
Although Diesel Elsie does not seem to be in good form at the moment, the bookmakers have shown confidence in her abilities. She has been a touch inconsistent over the past few months, but has the ability to break the shackles at Romford today.
M. Fawsitt’s trainee finished fourth in her most recent outing, which was not a bad result, considering that she was up against some quality runners. However, she will need to lift her performance in order to fight for victory today.
The punters will not have much confidence in the abilities of today’s favourite b***h, who is the daughter of Droopys Scolari out of Sterling Bale and was born in January 2010.
Another hound expected to do well at Romford is, Uh Oh Chongo, trained by P. Young. He seems to be in good rhythm at the moment and is more likely to end up on top of the table. The bookmakers have given him pretty decent odds and the punters will also be
placing a lot of bets in favour of his victory.
The blue dog finished runner up in his most recent appearance, thus he has the momentum to deliver a strong result today. He is the son of Droopys Scolari out of Zina Marina and was born in August 2010.
Rough Bullet, trained by F. Taylor, has been setting some impressive trial times at Romford and will have the confidence to deliver a solid show at the venue. However, he will need some more races under his belt in order to gain experience. The black dog
is the son of Crash out of Rough Charley and was born in March 2010.
There is also a chance for the rest of the runners to cause an upset, as all of the hounds are relatively new to the sport.
