Diesel Harry tipped to win May 545 Maiden - Dupl.
Diesel Harry is expected to prevail in the May 545 Maiden - Dupl. at Mildenhall in England on Tuesday, May 15, 2012. The winning greyhound will be given a cash prize of £100 in the end.
The Grade OR event is scheduled to start at 20:00 GMT and a total of six quality runners have been attracted towards it. Their names are as follows: Diesel Harry, Lambstown Queen, Killacolla Pedro, Parkers Nemesis, Blackrose Puma and Coyote Bluff.
Although Diesel Harry’s performances in this class have not been consistent at all, the bookies believe that he will be able to walk away with a victory. However, the punters might be a touch hesitant over investing money in his favour.
The M. Fawsitt’s trainee has been doing a lot of trial runs and his performances in them have been pretty much impressive. However, things are different altogether when it comes to racing in this class.
The black dog was unable to make an impression in his most recent Grade OR outing. He was rated as a joint favourite to win back then, as he appeared to be in very good shape. However, he failed to meet the expectations of the bookies and ended up in a disappointing
fifth place.
Despite the lacklustre performance last time around, Diesel Harry has the confidence of everyone and he needs to make a strong impression today in order to regain his confidence. He is the son of Droopys Maldini out of Maughera June and was born in June
2009.
On the other hand, Lambstown Queen might manage to attract some bets in her favour, as she is carrying good momentum at the moment. She finished first in her most recent run by a comprehensive margin, but that was a Grade A5 event.
Things will be entirely different for the S. Walsh’s trainee in today’s race, as she will be up against some quality runners. She will need to display excellent speed and stamina to take the top spot.
In her most recent Grade OR outing, Lambstown Queen took the third spot, which suggests that she is capable of fighting for victories at this level. She is the daughter of Droopys Kewell out of Pinewood Linda and was born in December 2008.
