Hello,

My name is Dimitri, and I am an owner of 61 Trucks Company.

I mean, Food prices go up, gas and diesel goes up basically every thing goes up.

The company we work with is not able to give us more money for transporting, because they will make no profit.

Each truck requires about 1500 litters of fuel weekly if you do the math:

(Year of 2005)

1500L X $0.80 cents per litter X 4 weeks

= $4800 per truck

(Year of 2008)

1500L X 1.10 cents per litter= X 4 weeks

= $6600 per truck

Now multiply by 60 Trucks in two and a half years

2005=$288,000

2008=396,000

That is an increase of 108,000$ per month,

And the Load Prices haven’t gone up.

so I am making 108k less every month.

I don’t even want to mention in a year.

They say that gasoline Prices will be around 1.50$ per litter this summer.

  1. It's 4 bucks a gallon here in Maryland and they say it will only go up.

    I think it totally blows! I look at truckers on the road and just wonder what world is going to be like in the future. I looks pretty grim.

  2. Bio Diesel. Plant 1,000 acres of sunflowers. They will over 100 gallons an acre of sunflower oil. Run this through a s***w press to extract the raw oil and through bio diesel processor to make fuel at about $.47 cents US a gallon.

    We have to move in this direction or continue to be held up by the oil cartels and refiners.

    I am planting 40 acres of Sunflowers or Rapseed and buying the s***w press and processor for $14,000 US. I figure my mini refinery can produce 4000 gallons per planting and 12,000 gallons a year. That is the equivalent of $50,000 a year at the current prices that will cost me about $20,000 the first year and $4,000 every year after.
