Question:

Diet-Friendly Resteraunts in Cardiff (Wales) and UK?

I'm on a diet that has me cut out anything that is fried, buttery, greasy, or too high in carbs. It's my birthday in afew days and abunch of friends and I decided we should go out to a resteraunt to celebrate in style, but I don't know what resteraunt I could go to that wouldn't ruin my diet! Does anyone have any suggestions for chain resteraunts in the UK or area-specific places in Cardiff? Or if not just general dishes that might be good? Please and thank you!!

  1. Diet isn`t the responsibility of any restaurant it is down to YOU!!! All you need to know are the particular foods that you need to avoid, saying that any reasonable eatery should be able to cope with reasonable requests e.g. No butter, low fat, low carbs etc

  2. MOST RESTAURANTS WILL ACCOMMODATE YOU AND YOUR DIET

AND CARDIFF IS AN ACCOMMODATING PLACE

  3. Why don't you go to Wagamama's if you have one near you. http://www.wagamama.com/  or Ask

Or when you go out just go for the meal that is lower in fat and just be careful. Don't go for the pasta dish that has a creamy sauce or that has lots of cheese in it. Go for something with a tomato sauce. Also have a jacket potato instead of chips and wedges or have a salad, without the dressing. Don't have anything that have been fried unless if has been dry fried. Also have a large glass of water with your meal.

  4. I would look for a harvester restaraunt, where you have free salad which can be used as a starter, plus some light meals.

    Good luck.
