i'm drinking it right now but i'm scared to be drinking it...

i heard "diet" drinks are bad for you and can make you gain weight.

there's only 10 calories in the whole bottle but here's the ingredients...

filtered water, natural flavors, pectin, citric acid, fumaric acid, sucralose, sodium citrate, acesulfame potassium, ascorbic acid, red 40 color.

will this make me gain weight even though i ate 1200 calories today?

  1. okay, first off there's not 10 calories in the whole bottle. that's 10 calories per 8 OUNCE, read the back of the label. second of all, it's perfectly fine, people say diet drinks make you gain weight because since you are drinking something diet with little or no calories, you think that you can eat more in the day to replace of what you drank. so as long as you dont over-eat, it's fine.

  2. No it wouldn't. It only has 10 calories. Plus its diet meaning (no sugar) which it won't make you gain any weight.

  3. Ok well at least you aren't drinking the regular ocean spray cran juice, maaad sugar and calories. You will be FINE with the light version of c. juice. And the thing with the artificial sugars and what not.... I hear this all the time but have read about how this is a myth, or if it is not a myth it is still not important unless you drown yourself with aspartame every day. Which even then I can't see it really inhibiting weight loss.
