  1. I am not sure about the skin tone, but it does have an impact on the childs overall health. But, then again some woman eat a ton of junk and their babies are fine.

Just eat healthy, like fruits and veggies, and plenty of water. This will make for an easier pregnancy too!

  2. eat right, take care of yourself.  your baby could still come out ugly, but be healthy.  there is no guarantee that you will have a "beautiful" baby.  it should be beautiful to you anyway.

  3. Your baby is going to look like whatever it's going to look like, nothing you eat or don't eat is going to change that. If you don't eat healthy though it could affect the birth weight and you'd have a smaller, possibly sick child. If you need to know what to eat to make it healthy talk to your doctor.

  4. It's more likely that YOUR skin and overall health will be affected the most if you do not eat healthy. This is because your baby will take everything it needs first, and then you are left with the rest. Drink 8+ cups of water a day, protein, calcium, vitamin C and potassium should be considered first, and a prenatal vitamin will give you more (iron, a,b,e vitamins, folic acid, etc.). Sugar should be eaten after all else....make sure you eat a meal with significant protein before indulging in ice cream, for example. Dry fruit is good for you, but some have added sugar, so like I said, eat them after you've already eaten your protein and veggies.
