Question:

Diet for a picky vegetarian?

I'm a fourteen year old girl and I've always been a picky eater. My dad recently went fishing at our summer lake house, and seeing the fish die firsthand convinced me to be a vegetarian. As I said, I'm a little bit of a picky eater: I don't like nuts, beans, or peas. I do like most fruits and vegetables. I'm wondering what foods, and how much, I should eat to have a healthy diet. Do I need to take some kind of vitamin?

  1. I'm a picky eater and a vegetarian and I've never had any problems. I don't like nuts, beans, or peas either. But if you can handle it, maybe try to eat something that has beans in it [that way you can't really taste the beans].

You should probably take a multi-vitamin, but you'll be fine.

  2. If you are a picky eater you are the only one that can decide what you feel like eating. It really sounds like you need to go to a vegetarian nutritionist to help you sort out your diet and encourage you to try new things
