Diet for weight loss ?

I'm a teenager planning on going on a 15 week weight loss plan trying to lost 2 pounds a week. I'm going to burn 500 daily and then eat 500 less--so that would be only eating 1000 calories. how should i eat? i know generally not to eat any white bread or pasta and sweets and chips but i want to know detailed how i should eat.

  4. I would suggest a cleansing diet. I lost 12 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. I also lost a lot of inches too! I learned that cleansing will help the body get rid of toxins. Toxins come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives and lots of other things. The toxins get stored in the fat in our body. To get rid of the fat, we have to get rid of the toxins by cleansing the body. I, understand the need for the salt and sugar and carbs.  I, believe when you first start out ...this is my suggestion.  You, should not first of all go cold turkey.  You will then crave the things you want and overeat something else.   Please, know bread is not bad.  I love Subway, McDonalds and etc.  Dunkin Donuts just came out with a breakfast sandwich that is on a flatbread with vegggies and eggwhites..EXCELLENT..only 300 calories.  You do not have too crash diet and then give up because you want to lose weight quickly and then gain it back or more.  Accountability, and Forgiveness are found at the local weight watcher meeting.  I love it!!    You do not even have to go but cutting back by 1000 calories, per day,  is going to slow your metabolism down and you will loose your muscle not fat.  1200, calories is even low but works for me.  I never had a weight problem until my 50's.  My sister did and lost 100 pounds.  You do need to exercise to burn, but remember whether it is a Hershey bar or a cobb salad..they both have fat and calories.  Weight Watchers is the best tool to guide you along your program.  Talk to one of their people,  as when you drop down too fast,  then losing more makes it more difficult.  I also believe in fasting once a week for 2 meals not the whole day.  If you choose weight watchers and walk you will be monitored for eating to less or too much and the same with exercise.  Remember, I know people that run, lift weights and eat way beyond their portions and snack...no weight loss.  Calories,  is what bottom line counts.   Water,  is the only thing that has no calories.   However, you need to drink  water..add a lemon in ho or cold...., and if you drink latte's and milkshakes.. that all has to go.  The coffee creamers at restaurants are 2 points which is a lot of  The fat burning will happen when you start and progress.  Two pounds a week is good with 3 meals and a snack.  1200 calories a day or 18-22 points weight watchers..I know I am 5'5inches.  I wish you all the best and you will do it.  Once you reach your goal you will...weigh yourself every day in the morning,  as do NOT go by clothes, as my 9's fit ...but snug in my thighs as I have gained 10 pounds..but they still fit.  CALORIES...total answer!  You go girl..You can do it!!   DO NOT STARVE!!!  Walk, Count your intake and buy some new clothes at a nice consignment stores to get you motivated and a goal to fit in the size smaller.  Consignment, as will be too small to wear that size month after month of losing.  5 pounds for 7 months is 35 pounds...You will be healthier and a 135 pound girl.  When you arrive at that weight...you can continue and before you know it... you will have changed your outlook on life and know that you have the will and the way to never gain the weight back which as important,  as losing it.  I will be thinking of you and will keep you in my prayers.  Remember, I am in my 50's and I can lose weight but at a slower rate as my metabolism dropped.  However, nonsense to people who say it's over when you hit a certain age.  YOU WILL DO IT...You are a teenager and the magazines at the grocery counter with movie stars have personal cooks, trainers and are disiplined through coaches.  When they get hungry they can have someone whip up a 1200 calorie day meal plan.  They also can say get me a turkey sandwich,  pronto!!  We, ordinary people have to cook, choose and decide the meal plan for the day...BASE...your whole life ahead to enjoy food in moderation and on some days it may not be.  Just get up and start again!!

Eating only 1000 calories per day will send your body into starvation mode.  That means that your body will hold onto every ounce of fat it can, making it nearly impossible to lose weight.  If you do manage to lose a few pounds, you will gain those back plus more when you start to eat regularly again.  Do not ever go below 1200 calories per day!  You should be eating at least 1500-1600 calories per day for weight loss, because you must fuel your body's basic functions.  You have to eat enough to lose weight.  If you go on a 1000 calorie per day diet, you going to slow down your metabolism instead of losing weight.

    You should focus mainly on eating lean proteins (chicken, fish, etc.), veggies & fruits.  It's important to eat small snacks/meals approximately every 3 hours to keep your blood sugars stable.  It's better to eat 5 or 6 small meals (200-300 cals each) than to eat 2 or 3 large meals per day.  Drink plenty of plain water.  Avoid fried foods, sweets, and all types of soda.  In addition, you should aim for 30-60 minutes of exercise per day for 4-5 days per week.  

    2 pounds per week is a healthy weight loss goal so I applaud you for that.  Most people want to lose it overnight, and end up doing their bodies more harm than good.

  10. Go vegan, as difficult or impossible it might sound to some, going vegan and exercising properly can help you lose weight very quickly.

    Go to your bookstore and pick up "Skinny *****". it should help you get started. I read it and it changed my life, no joke. I have been a vegetarian and i just started being vegan for a year now.
