  1. Logicality -- you need to learn to read the label & # of calories before you eat the food.

I applaud you for keeping track.  You should eat 1500 calories/day.

  2. are you trying to lose weight? If so, you have way too much sugar in your diet. Skip the poptart, have an egg, or maybe wheat toast w peanut butter and a fruit for breakfast. Skip the cookie. Add in veggies. 880 cals of pasta?!?! omg lol lower your portions. You can still have pasta, but maybe eat a little less of it. Eat healthier cereal. Replace cookjie crisps with cheerios. If you need a sweeter cereal, try frosted mini wheats. They are much healthier♥ Dont go under 1200 cals btw. Esp if you will be exercising. You will be more prone to snack and binge if you eat that little♥

  3. 30 minute of riding and you want to go to a 1200 calories diet?

What you ate aand did today are great, I don't think you should cut down any ,more than you already are. You don't state your age or build, but if you keep up like you did today you should be fine.

  4. The calorie count is fine, ( in general you should NEVER consume fewer than 1500 calories per day. If you do you will lose more weight BUT your body will start canibalizing your muscle), but it concerns me about the number of empty calories you have included. Half of your calories come from junk food. You would do a lot better to limit yourself to one sweet a day and substitute fresh fruits and vegetables (not canned) or even meat or beans. Unless there was something in the pasta, you have NO protein at all included ( this can again lead to muscle tissue loss). If you don't eat meat, fill in the gaps with beans, eggs, fish, or nuts (preferably unsalted, but either is still preferable to cookie crisp). You also might consider adding a daily multivitamin to your diet as this will help fill in any nutritional gaps and keep you from feeling as hungry.

In conclusion, again, your calorie count is fine (ideal =1500-2000), but you need a MUCH more balanced diet.
