Diet question. I really need to lose weight?

I need to lose weight but the thing is I REALLY love food. I would be setting myself up for failure if I was to start a diet. My question: if I were to drink only water with meals and exercise regularly, and still eat what I want, can I lose weight?

  1. That really depends on what your eating and how many calories consumed.  If your between 1500 - 2500 calories a day on average you should be able to do it. If you're eat 3-4 thousand calories a day then you'll have to do a whole lot of exercise every day.


  2. i lost 70 pounds by drinking water instead of cola and eating HEALTHY meals 5-6 times a day and increasingly moderate exercise. the trick is to not replace the sugar you cut out by not drinking soda with something worse (cake, candy, etc.) Good Luck!

Although fish and chicken appear leaner than beef, this white meat can contain more fat than when a beef is fried. It is recommended for those on strict diet to opt for grilled food as this does not have or contain less amount of fat after the food is cooked.

    Sixth: Takes lots of fluid. Drinking at least six to eight glasses of water a day keeps the body refreshed. Since weight loss depends on how the body eliminates body wastes, the body must stay hydrated.

    All in all, discipline and consistency is still the best practice and the key to a rapid weight loss success. Light dieting, workout, and right amount of supplementation applied in a regular way everyday will result in faster weight loss than having a massive action only to be followed a return to old habits as this would only lead to gaining more weight than when the weight loss plan has started.

  6. No, that probably wouldn't help you lose weight. I read somewhere though that a lot of people are starting to pick a particular thing to do when they're hungry or craving "bad" foods. For example, one woman painted the foods that she wanted to eat, and another played violin instead. You can use that strategy to train your brain off of those "bad" foods.

  7. Hun I will be honest with you It's not easy, but I never thought I would loose 30 lbs. Forget about the diets I made a change of eating habits. No more soda, sweet drinks or iced coffee's . Carry healthy snacks all the time eat 5 times daily healthy food. Drink 72 oz of water(if can't drink plain water buy crystal light they real good). I still eat pizza, burgers fries, BUT!! only a few times a month not often like before. You can do just put your mind to it. Remember I went from a size 16 to a 9/10.
