The FC Nuremberg manager is targeting a result against Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga clash at home.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/1-FC-Nuremberg-c38162 will host the former German champions in a league clash on Saturday, March 31, at the easyCredit Stadion. The home side are on a three-match losing streak and are hopeful of getting a result in the Munich derby at
the weekend.
Hecking admitted that his side has been way below par in the past few weeks and is confident of a string comeback against Bayern Munich in the upcoming Munich derby.
The manager insisted that the Bavarian giants are certainly stronger than the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfL-Wolfsburg-c40881 and VfB Stuttgart, the teams against which Nuremberg have faltered in the previous three games. He added that his team
is well capable of getting something from the game if they play with passion and determination.
“Munich are different opponents to Mainz, Wolfsburg or Stuttgart. We are going to have to be disciplined, show passion and the willingness to run and we will also need a bit of luck to do Bayern any harm. The anticipation for this
derby is great. A derby is always something special,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
On the other hand, Bayern boss Jupp Heynckes added that the opposition will not be easy to beat as they are strong when playing at home. He insisted that it will also be difficult for his side as they are currently taking part
in as many as three competitions.
The Munich based outfit are returning from a UEFA Champions League fixture against French side Olympique Marseille.
“Nurnberg is going to be difficult enough. We are going from one competition to the other - from the Champions League, now to the Bundesliga, and before that the DFB-Pokal - that is not easy,” he concluded.
A win for Bayern Munich will reduce Borussia Dortmund’s lead at the top of the table to three points with six games to go until the end of the season as the reigning champions played a 4-4 draw against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfB-Stuttgart-c40879 at home on
Friday.
