Dieting, someone help me with this.?

im doing the special k diet.

i need a little help, on things that would help me lose it faster.

im eating that for breakfast and dinner, and no lunch at all.

but, im using an ab lounger, a thigh cruncher, and my bike.

im only drinking water, but does anyone know of faster ways to lose weight?

please help me, i'd like to lose at least 4 inches in the next month.

  1. you are not likely to be loosing weight that way! you have a very low calorie intake, and you are exercising quite a bit -

    your body is going to go into hoarding mode.

    if you are going to do all that exercise, give yourself a decent amount of calories each day, and your body will go into burn mode instead of hoarding.

  3. I don't think special K is whole grain is it? I would ASSUME a whole grain cereal would be better than Special K. I would not skip lunch because the more you eat a day the better it keeps your metabolism running, so eating around 5-6 times through out the day every 2-3 hours is much more effective than the way you are only eating it for breakfast and dinner. More cardio is better for losing weight and inches off your waist than your ab lounger and thigh cruncher.

You are never going to lose weight permanently by starving yourself.  You'll lose for awhile, but then your body will try to hold on to every calorie in preparation for famine.  If you are serious about losing weight, then speak to your doctor and possibly a nutritionist about a sensible diet and exercise plan.

    What you are doing is actually counterproductive, and you will probably end up either binging soon or in the hospital with your muscle being eaten up.  The Special K diet is meant to be a jump start for fast weight-loss, but it's by no means a permanent solution.  You aren't doing it correctly, and your efforts will fail.

    P.S.- I also suspect that you are a teenager, in which case you should not be on a diet without your parents and doctor supervising.  Most adults would never attempt something like this unless they suffered from an eating disorder.

Eat foods with proteins, eggs, grilled chicken, brown rice.  I would recommend purchasing some almonds and snacking on those between meals.  Even easier, before a vacation I purchased many lean cusines and healthy choice frozen dinners and drank water and ate salads with light dressing and that was tasty and it worked.  Eating only 2 meals a day is not a great way to loose weight it will shock your metabolism,  stick to eating 5-6 small meals a day using portion control. I would go to your public library and check out the book, Abs Diet or Abs Diet for Women, it really gives you a planned but expansive diet guidelines, this diet will make you loose lots of weight but increase muscle mass to tone your body.  If you want to loose weight fast and quick, the Lemonade Diet also called the Master Cleanse is a QUICK but not a permanant solution.  I provided two links for the master cleanse.   6. Well I did that too but I would eat special K in the morning and at lunch then for dinner i would eat some chicken soup with veggies and chicken in it. You need some protein so that your body can burn the fat faster. I hope this works for you I lost 25lbs in a month.  

  7. does the diet tell you to eatonly twice a day and skip lunch?

    then its an idiot diet and you should scrap it immediately.

    eat 5 meals a day. smaller meals. that way excess energy isnt stored (stored as fat)

    do NOT skip any meals.

    lunch is very important. cut carbs for dinner (since your going to sleep after and not going to bespending any energy)

    read up on GI indexes of carbs. too long to explain. google it.

    the ab lounger won't help you loose inches and nor will the thigh cruncher. do both but if your stressed for time and cannot bike more then give up on them and only bike.

    read up on interval training. again too long to explain... google it.

    INTERVAL TRAINING...nothing beats it.

    you can do it on your bike, but i would sugges maybe running around the block or something instead because the bike is lower impact (good for people who cant run because of weak joints and knees and stufff) but not a great fat burner.

    i have to say interval training again.IMPORTANT.

    its the best visceral (belly) fat burner.

    you might not loose weight on the scales because fat is lighter than muscle but you will definately loose inches onthe waist.

    4 inches in a month is a bit much to ask. you probably won't achieve it. maybe set a more reasonable goal? then you won't be dissapointed.

    also 4 in a month isn't too healthy.

  8. when i wanted to lose weight i used to eat yougurt all the time, it seemed to help, but now im a vegertarian and i seem to sustain my weight which i am very happy with with what your doing i think you will reach your goal. just keep  on track with your diet  and keep excersizing. but make sure you dont over do yourself.

  9. The thing is to eats 3 SMALL meals a day because if you don't eat lunch, then your body gets really hungry and you end up eating a lot. Also, it's really good that you drink a lot of water, but you also need to drink milk for calcium. Good luck! :D
