Question:

Dieting has been getting to me... Help!?

I've been dieting/eating healthy for almost 10 months... I don't eat out, I prepare my meals, only drink water, eat very lowfat cereals, granola bars, rice cakes and eat a lot veggies and fruits. I eat a meal and feel very energetic and good after I eat. But then its becoming very hard for me. I see people around me eating regular foods, I'm always fighting hunger. My meals have become very repetitious and boring and its actually getting to me to the point of quitting. Then when I eat like an extra granola bar or fruit later in the day. I feel very guilty almost to the point of crying because I ate something extra. I really don't want to stop my dieting because I really want my eating healthy to be part of my life. My question can anyone recommend me some good websites with good healthy food recipes or recommend me something healthy things to eat. Things that don't make me cry with guilt... Or tips on what I can do different? That will be helpful to me... I have worked so hard these 10 months I don't want all this hard work to go to waste.

  1. I don't blame you with a diet like that!

Try looking up vegan recipies, there are some great ones like lasagnas and stuff, and taste great and are almost always very healthy.

Don't think take away etc is BAD! It is fine to have KFC once a month, hot chips a few times!

Junk food is only bad if you eat it one or more times per week.

Go for it, and eat regular food.

Also, don't worry about an extra bit of fruit, it's like, 20 calories? You burn that off sleeping!

Good luck, and good on you for being healthy!

  2. Well try what i do... Eat whatever the h**l you want to eat but like 30 minutes after, do sports for a while...

  3. Your diet sounds ridiculously boring... you should be happy with your body

    and eat whatever you want

aslong as you exercise you should be fine!

  4. This isn't healthy, if you're trying to be healthy by boring yourself to death with food you need to step back and look at what you're doing. What do you want out of yourself? And why do you completely restrict eating out? You're denying yourself enjoyment. So naturally you're feeling this way.
