Diferant between milk chocolate and dark chocolat?

Is dark chocolate cosider to be junk food . I know that milk chocoae is but is dark chocolate . And does dark chocolate make you gane weight .

  2. dark chocolate has more chemicals and hormones in it that are better for you even though it is slightly bitter in comparison to milk chocolate which is saturated with milk and loaded full of sugar most of the world prefers dark chocolate and I've heard that milk chocolate is referred to as 'American chocolate'

  3. As it implies, milk chocolate has more milk and sugar in it.  Dark has more antioxidants in it per weight.  I like the milk best.  But that's just me.

  8. No, dark chocolate does not make you gain weight. Although if you eat a ton of it it will make you fat. Dark chocolate is better for you because it has more cocoa and less sugar and other unwanted substitutes. Especially American chocolate is loaded with all kinds stuff which has no place in good chocolate. Try some delicious european style chocolate from Cowgirl chocolates.

I know about this because I'm a big fan of dark chocolate.  Dark chocolate is basically on the same level as herbal tea is.  Dark chocolate, just like herbal tea, contains many necessary antioxidants and vitamins in it because dark chocolate is made up of cocoa, while milk chocolate is milk, sugar, and fake preservative waxes.  So, if you had to choose between the two, dark chocolate is definitely a lot better for you.  However, it is still chocolate, and contains a lot of fat - about 8g total for a Hershey's Special Dark bar.  They do say though that if you eat dark chocolate in moderation, but often, it has been proven to lower cholesterol and prevent heart problems.
