Diff between kick start and push start of a motorcycle?

When I try to start my bike by push start it works, but kick start doesn't help at sometimes. why is it so? what's the difference between kick start and push start?

Kick start is usually on older bikes or dirt bikes without an electrical starter.  There will be a foot lever designed to be pushed down by your foot which will rotate the engine and ( hopefully ) bring it to life.

Push starting means literally pushing the bike up to speed and putting it into gear to make the rear tire turn the engine over and bring it to life.  This is sometimes done when the battery is dead or something is wrong with the starter.

Push start traditionally means that you have an electric ignition motor that you push a button to start. It seems as though you might be using push start meaning to put the bike in gear and literally push the bike until the motor starts. Kick start is a pedal like protrusion that you push down on with your foot to manually turn the motor over. If the kick start isn't working, you may have a misaligned cog in between the kick start pedal and the motor. It should be an easy fix if you don't like the push start method.

when you push start it is  more continious.  kick start doesnt even get the gas movin sometimes

push start will give you a more continuous rotation (get through a couple cycles) the momentum of the rider on the bike when putting it into gear drives the rear wheel around, which drives the transmission to push the clutch to rotate the engine....

kick start is more of in impulse (if it doesn't fire the first time there is no second chance..) it's a direct link to either the ouput shaft of the engine, or the other side of the clutch...

When you push start the cylinder is running at a higher RPM so it has more chances to fire up vs kick start. Also, I'm not positive on this, but it may also produce a stronger spark vs kick start.
