  1. If you are wanting scientific analysis, I don't know. But salt water is the ocean and fresh water is like a lake or stream.

  2. Ocean water (the normal meaning of salt water) contains minerals not found in fresh water (except at low levels in comparison).  The reference gives the breakdown of the ions found in ocean water.  These ions will change the properties such as conductivity, density, and livability for creatures.

  3. salt water has a greater density than fresh water so some thing will float "higher" in the water. e.g. a ship will need deeper water to float in fresh water. (best example is to look at information on the dead sea, you can lie in it and not sink because it is so salty). also more animals are present in salt water although the fresh water animals can show how clean it is (some animals will only live in water that is very pure)

  4. salt water has salt in it and fresh water doesn't

  5. one has salt???

  6. salt water has salt and fresh water does not

fresh water has less density and you cannot float as easily and salt water has more density and you can float well

more orangiams live in salt water than fresh water

which is odd though cuz i would prefer to live in fresh water cuz its cleaner

  7. fresh water has less density and you cannot float as easily and

salt water has more density and you can float well =]
