Difference, if any of fiance visas between scotland and england?

does the fiance visa to uk apply to all of uk, or does scotland have any legal differences, my fiance is applying to come to scotland to marry, and is applying for a uk fiance visa.

  1. No difference.  England and Scotland are the same country wrt visas and immigration.


  2. Laws like this one apply to the whole of the UK as they are not a reserved power to the Scottish Government but the UK one.  My wife had to have a fiance visa as well (years ago).  Not sure how different, or more expensive it is now.

  3. No the same Fiancée Visas apply to all of the UK. Scotland has it's own legal system but this doesn't apply to immigration. The Home Office in London still deals with all that stuff. Scotland isn't a fully independent country yet. :-)
