All of the foods in these categories are "clean" and do not contain any pesticides or "man-made" ingredients (GMOs). So what's the difference between the three?

  1. The difference is in which set of legalistic rules that are followed.

  2. Natural foods and organic foods are quite the same in their composition and method of production. Both are grown using only natural or organic method of growing crops without the use of any synthetic chemical fertilizers or pesticides.

However, natural food items are processed to a certain extent to help preserve them for a longer period. Organic foods, on the other hand, are not preserved at all. While natural food items may have certain preservatives, organic foods are in their real natural form.

Kosher foods are those that conform to the Jewish dietary laws.

  3. Organic food is grown without pesticides.  All natural just means it is made with "all natural" ingredients.  Kosher refers to Jewish dietary laws. Food in accord with halakha (Jewish law) is termed kosher in English, from the Hebrew term kashér, meaning "fit" (in this context, fit for consumption by Jews according to traditional Jewish law). Jews who keep kashrut may not consume non-kosher food, but there are no restrictions on non-dietary use of non-kosher products, for example, injection of insulin of porcine origin.
