Difference Between Temperature And Amount Of Heat?

I got this abnormal question for a project i'm working on then it gave me a question saying whats the difference between temp and heat? what th h**l? wtf's the difference between heat and amount of heat but anyway juss asnwer teh question plzz and in not big words so i can understand im only in grade 7 so answer WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TEMPERATURE AND AMOUNT OF HEAT?

  1. its confusing... temperature is the actual physical property of something... kinda like mass or density of an object.

    Heat is NOT a property, but a measurement of ENERGY ....due to the differences of temperatures between 2 objects.

    On a cold day.... say the air outside has a physical property or temperature of 10 degrees.   You go outside...your body has a physical property or temperature of 98 degrees.

    Heat is actually the measurement of energy transfer (not sure what the equations are) from your body to the outside air.
