  1. if you're looking for a 26" screen you won't find 1080p, as the smallest made at the moment is 32", but to be honest to see a significant difference between 720p and 1080p, at a realistic viewing distance you would need a tv of at least 37", as with a smaller screen you can't see the extra detail, a bit like taking a picture with a 10 mega pixel camera and trying to see the difference between that and a 5 mega pixel on a 6"x4" print

  2. I got a 22" 1080p HDTV for £200

also you it as a PC monitor, it has a HDMI port too

  3. The main reason for getting a 1080p TV to go with a PS3 would be for not only the gaming facility of a PS3 but also the BluRay.

But as the person said before me 1080p is only really availible in 32" and above. I personally would be looking at Samsung Series 5 (I think thats the model which is current in the UK...I have been over in NZ for over 2 years now).

But remember resolution isn't the be all and end all of a TV. Any form of Anti Judder technology will make a vast difference in your picture quality.

    Hope that helps. Happy Shopping.

  4. Ok. There is a difference between 720p, 1080i and 1080p. You may not consciously be sitting there going "Oh yes I can definitely see the quality difference" especially if you are going to be watching on a small screen. However, the feel of the programme you are watching does change and therefore your viewing experience will be different.

1080p is a higher resolution than 720p and if you have a PS3 then you should make use of it and get a 1080p tv. Now, as the others have said you won't get a 1080p tv that's under 32" and to be honest you should get at least a 37" one to appreciate the Blu-ray films on your PS3. However, if money and size is an issue then you can get some very good 32" tvs for just under £400.

I know the one you linked to at argos is cheap, but to be honest you would be wasting your money. The quality will be very bad. You could get a SAMSUNG LE32A436T1D 32 INCH LCD TV for around £375, which is not full HD but is 720p, and has a contrast ratio of 10,000:1 compared to the Acoustic Solutions one of 800:1. It also has 3 HDMI slots and 24p cinemode for your Blu-ray movies. Therefore, if money is a big factor then this would be a far better buy for your needs.

If you want reviews on tvs and prices then I use:

    Hope that helps!

  5. the number of pixels per screen height can be 720 or 1080i and 1080p is full hdtv

  6. I dont think so dont know about normal tv but there isnt a difference in games xbox games run at 1080 and most ps3 games run at 720 but I cant see any difference ,you wopuld need a very well trained eye to see difference between i and p as well
