Difference between ACCA and CAT (cost)?

I was wondering if someboy can guide me with a proffessional advice here. I am intending to take ACCA / CAT via distance learning and had a few questions before I make the big decision

1. what is the difference between ACCA and CAT (from accaglobal.com, the fees for both are the same)

2. are study materials included in the cost? if not, what is the approximate cost of getting these books?

3. is ACCA at the top of the accounts field "food chain" -

what more can i do after ACCA?
