  1. about $50,000 per year.  A tech applies Engineering without understanding why they are doing it.  An Engineer understands exactly why they are doing what they are doing.


  2. A Bachelor of Engineering is a university degree that will teach engineering theory.

    A Bachelor of Technology is a college degree that teaches a much more applied curriculum.

    Starting salaries aren't too different, but a bachelor of engineering can advance much further.
